Alpine

The Alpine biome refers to the mountains and is similar to the tundra. These mountainous regions are generally at an altitude of about 10,000 feet or more. As you go up a mountain, you will go through many different biomes. This is due to the climate changes you go through as you go higher in elevation. Remember, climate has a lot to do with elevation as well as latitude.
